On August 27, 2024, the world lost a cherished soul, Robert J. Zuccarini, affectionately known to friends as “Bob” or “Mr. Zucc”.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, to loving parents, William and Kathryn and one of eight children, Bob lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication.
Bob was the beloved husband, for 58 years, of Mary McGinn Zuccarini; devoted father of Chris (Laurie), Cara (Mark) McGoldrick, and Andrew Zuccarini. He was also the proud and doting Pop Pop to ten wonderful grandchildren: Haley, Kelsey, Cameron, Kirsten, Daniel, Hannah, Courtney, Molly, Christian (Jade), and Mia; dear brother of Theresa McCarthy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Louis, William, Mary, Elaine, John, and Joseph.
Bob’s presence was felt far beyond his home. He was often found in the company of friends, sharing laughter over a drink, a game of cards, or a golf match on television. Summers in Avalon, NJ were especially treasured, where he created lasting memories as both a father and grandfather.
A natural salesman, Bob could sell anything he set his mind to, a talent that served him well throughout his career. Spending time with the people he loved brought him immense joy, even as he bravely faced the challenges of Parkinson’s Disease. Bob’s unwavering spirit remained a beacon of light to all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life at his visitation from 9:30-11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
