Roberta E. Baccari-Davis

Roberta Elaine Baccari-Davis, 61, of Newport, RI passed away on January 31, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Roberta, lovingly known as Robbie, was born on July 10, 1964, at Newport Hospital to Elaine R. Elliott and Michael J. Baccari, Jr. She went to Ely High School in Pompano Beach, FL and graduated in 1982. She immediately started her family and earned various certificates and promotions during her 33-year career at Robinson Supply, Co. Her passion was hosting gatherings and events for family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of others, collecting recipes and cooking for family. She enjoyed ceramics, arts & crafts, shopping, especially antiquing, listening to music, sitting in the sun, the beach, and the pool, traveling, going out to eat, especially trying new places and a good funny.

Survived by her daughter Elaine R. Davis, her son Stephen G. Davis and their father Stephen F. Davis. Her beloved grandchildren, Bella, Crew & Harper Davis, and Elliott Baccari Davis. Her older brother David M. Baccari, his wife Lauren A. Baccari, her niece and Goddaughter, Clarice E. Baccari, her younger sister Errin E. Baccari and her late husband Edwin R. Mejia, and her niece Muriel E. Mejia, along with her dear friend Clare Boiani, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

Preceded in death by her parents Elaine R. Elliott and Michael J. Baccari, Jr.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 5:00-7:00pm at O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home, 465 Spring St, Newport, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 7 at St. Joseph's Church, corner of Broadway & Mann Ave, Newport at 10:00 am. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life Reception immediately following the Mass at Knights of Columbus, 7 Valley Road, Middletown.
