Roberta Coleman

1941 - 2023

Roberta (Bobbi) Joan Coleman was born August 3, 1941, in Providence, Rhode Island. She passed quietly on December 18, 2023 in Rancho Cucamonga, California at the age of 82. Bobbi moved to California with her parents and sisters in 1947. She grew up in West Covina, graduated from West Covina High School in 1962 and attended college at the University of Idaho. She worked in a number of fields over the course of her adult career. Most recently she taught medical assisting classes at a career school. She retired in 2014 and spent her retirement years enjoying time with her husband, her dogs and her family.
Bobbi is survived by her husband Stephen Coleman, two sons Douglas Stiles, Jr. (Gabby) and Jeffrey Stiles (Jessica), her grandson, Kerry Stiles and her granddaughter Kathleen Stiles, two step-daughters Jennifer Coleman and Stephanie Coleman, three sisters Julie Zuvich (Anthony), Christine Heath-Ure and Diane Mitchell, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Geraldine Bender. Bobbi's loving spirit will be missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for January 18th at 10:30 AM at Stone Funeral Home in Upland.
