Roberta Heider Obituary
She married Charles Heider in 1951, and helped to care for their growing family as he pursued his medical career. She was an accomplished painter and photographer, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Houston. She shared her love of music, nature, birds, literature, art – and especially dogs – with her family, who miss her dearly.
Roberta is survived by her children Charles Heider, Jr. and wife Ming-Mei, Rebecca Burris and husband Peter, Clinton Heider and wife Carol; and grandchildren Emily Heider, Elena Heider, Kyle Burris and wife Sarah Lane, and Isaac Heider.
Her family greatly appreciates the kindness of her Nassau Bay neighbors and friends throughout the years. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local animal shelter.
