Roberta Berta Lyons

Roberta Corey "Berta" Lyons, died on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Grafton County Nursing Home after a period of declining health. She was born on November 21, 1936, in Littleton, NH to Sadie (Romanus) and Robert Corey. She attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and was graduated from Littleton High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many area businesses and as a cafeteria worker at Littleton High School. Berta enjoyed vacationing at Maine beaches and annual trips to Ste. Anne de Beaupre, Quebec. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carroll "Bud" Lyons, son Robert "Bob" Lyons and his wife Barbara of Enfield, NH, daughter Lori Lyons Daskal of Concord, NH, granddaughter Heather Lynde and great-granddaughter Abigale Chase, sister Marilyn Corey Stillings of Littleton, NH and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Corey Ziter. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, 77 Clay Street, in Littleton on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 AM. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, in Littleton. The Pillsbury-Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
