Roberta Delgado Medina

Roberta Delgado Medina, 86, de Waukegan, falleció pacíficamente rodeada de su familia el día 22 de noviembre de 2022. Roberta nació el 7 de junio de 1936 en Oxtotitlán, Guerrero, Mexico. Hija de Elvira Roman y Isaias Delgado Medina. Perteneció al Santuario Santiago Apóstol en Oxtotitlán, Guerrero y después a la Parroquia de Santisima Trinidad. Fue una mujer de fe, dedicó su vida entera a su familia y al mejor cuidado de sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Elvira Roman, Jose Natividad Roman, Marco Antonio Roman, Celia Roman, Petra Roman; 25 nietos y 38 bisnietos. La extrañará inmensamente su familia y una comunidad entera que lamenta su pérdida. Ahora Roberta está junto a su querido esposo, Genaro Román Gonzales; hermanos María de Jesús Delgado, Pedro Delgado, Celedonia Delgado; y su hija Angelita Delgado.
Su velorio será el día Domingo, 27 de noviembre 2022 entre 2:00 - 6:00 pm en la funeraria Memorial Chapel de Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Su santa misa será el día Lunes, 28 de noviembre 2022 a las 10:00 am, en Santísima Trinidad (Sitio de Sagrada Familia), 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Roberta Delgado Medina, 86, of Waukegan, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on November 22, 2022. Roberta was born on June 7, 1936 in Oxtotitlán, Guerrero, Mexico. The daughter of Elvira Roman and Isaias Delgado Medina. She was a devoted member of Santuario Santiago Apóstol en Oxtotitlán, Guerrero, and later joined the Most Blessed Trinity Parish. She was a woman of faith, dedicated to her family and the utmost care for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Elvira Roman, Jose Natividad Roman, Marco Antonio Roman, Celia Roman, Petra Roman, 25 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and a community who mourns her loss. Roberta joins her beloved husband Genaro Román Gonzales; siblings María de Jesús Delgado, Pedro Delgado, Celedonia Delgado and her daughter Angelita Delgado.
Roberta's visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Her sacred mass will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:00 am at Most Blessed Trinity (Holy Family Site), 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
