October 28, 2025, marks the passing of our beloved Kellie Accurso-Walkowiak, a cherished resident of Elma, NY, who embraced life with warmth and kindness. She was the devoted wife of James Walkowiak, who held her heart in every moment they shared.
Kellie's legacy shines brightly through her three wonderful children: Jilian (Cameron Schmid) Accurso, Derek (Gina) Accurso, and Lindsay (Eric) Hiscock. As a grandmother, she radiated love and joy, spending time amongst her grandchildren—Blake, Blaire, Brielle, Wyatt, Sophia, Cade, and Serena.
Kellie was the cherished daughter of Robert and the late Mary Borucki. She was a beloved sister to Martie (Tony) Anibaldi, Bonnie (Silvano) Scirri, and Connie Borucki, fostering deep family bonds that brought laughter and support through the seasons of life. Kellie was also a treasured aunt, leaving behind a legacy of love for her nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Kellie’s beautiful life on Wednesday November 5th, from 3-7 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY. A heartfelt Celebration of Life will commence at 7 PM, allowing everyone to share in the honor of her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Erie County SPCA, reflecting Kellie’s passion for compassion and caring for our furry friends.
Though she may no longer walk among us, Kellie's spirit will forever be woven into our hearts, guiding us with love and light.
