Roberta Mullins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Centralia on Jan. 9, 2026.
Today, Heaven gained a louder, funnier, and far more stubborn resident.

Roberta Lee Mullins, beloved mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and new great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. If you knew her, you know she didn't go quietly, ----she went out the way she lived: loving her six children fiercely, sharing stories, and probably offering the angels a few helpful suggestions. No one on earth meant more to her than her children.

Through tight times and triumphs, she made every holiday magical, ensuring each child felt deeply loved. Her yard burst with colorful flowers she nurtured with the same tenderness she gave her family, and her laughter-filled stories about "remember when you kids…" could go on for hours. Stubborn to her core, that same fire helped her face life's challenges with humor and resilience, always finding a way to say, "Well, it could be worse," followed by a joke that left everyone in stitches.

In her final years, she shared precious moments with family-long drives with windows down, Whiskey Myers' "Broken Window Serenade" on repeat, foot-tapping, and hand-squeezing.

In God's perfect timing, she met and held her first great-grandbaby just days before passing, a moment that brought her immense joy. We were blessed beyond measure to be her family. Now, we imagine her tending Heaven's most beautiful garden, sharing stories of her six children with Jesus, and playing her favorite tunes at full volume. We love you forever, Mom/Grandma. Save us a spot at the table-we'll bring the sweet tea.

Until we meet again,

Her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
