Roberta graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and attended Michigan Tech. She had a full-time career at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek and retired after 30+ years of dedicated service. Roberta loved to volunteer for The Special Olympics and enjoyed her time with her dogs.
Roberta is survived by her sister, Charlene Bassler; brother, Charles (Pam) Pelfrey; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Pelfrey; mother, Avis Croften; daughter, Sarah Keeler; sister, Helen Pelfrey; and brother, John Pelfrey.
