Robin Duffine Gootee, a longtime resident of Fredericksburg, VA and for the last five years, living in Bala Cynwyd, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 (27 Cheshvan 5786), surrounded by all her loved ones and extended family, after a long courageous fight with ALS.
Robin was the mother of Kaz Gootee and Aly Gootee, sister of Geoffrey Duffine (Ruthie Duffine), Andrea Lee (David Richter), Missy Kossar, and Mark Sapowith, z"l; and daughter of Sandra Mort Duffine, z"l, June Rose Duffine, z"l, and Richard Wolf Duffine, z"l.
Robin was a friend to all and everyone loved her. She was a warrior and inspired others by the way she fought to live a meaningful life every day. She will be missed by all.
Funeral services were held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy, Trevose, PA 19053.
Shiva followed at the home of Geoff and Ruthie Duffine, 7124 Sheaff Lane, Ft. Washington.
