Roberta Grace Saucier

Roberta Grace Saucier, age 72, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. Born on June 23, 1953, in Gwinnett County, Georgia, the daughter of Robert Puckett and Bertie Doby Puckett. She was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and home.

Roberta was deaf and embraced her life with strength, grace, and determination. She was very active in and deeply committed to volunteering within the deaf community, where she formed lasting friendships and made a meaningful impact. She was a faithful member of Dorst Shoals Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia. She found joy in working puzzles and creating diamond art, hobbies that reflected her patience, creativity, and love for detail.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamera Abernathy; son, Mark Abernathy; sister, Mickie Cromer; grandchildren, Ashley Henry, Zachary Henry, Kendra Abernathy, Eva Abernathy, Brooke Abernathy, Kinsley Abernathy, and Aron Abernathy; great-grandchild, Abigail Palm; as well as multiple nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clinon Saucier; and her brother, Stanley Puckett.

A celebration of life will be set up for family and friends at a later date.
