Roberta Marie Taylor, age 70, primarily of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on March 14, 2026, at River Grove Health and Rehab in Loudon, Tennessee. She was born on March 11, 1956, to the late Robert and Beatrice Hamel.
Roberta enjoyed the simple things in life. Among her hobbies were playing sports and spending time with those she loved. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her ability to make others laugh. Above all, Roberta always made her family her top priority. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Jody Reese and another daughter; her grandchildren, Isabella Gates (Guy Ratledge), Latasha Reese, Kasandra Costa, and Eddie Costa; and her one cherished great-grandchild, Genesis Ratledge. She also leaves behind three brothers and two sisters, all of New York, as well as her former companion, David Reese, who continued to cherish her.
At this time, no formal services are planned. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
