Roberta A. Wagenhoffer May 19, 1951 – November 7, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberta A. Wagenhoffer, 73, of Sloatsburg NY on November 7, 2024. Roberta was born on May 19, 1951, to Robert and Rose Wagenhoffer.
Robbie, as everyone knew her, had a deep love for her family, friends, and animals, especially her beloved cats. She dedicated much of her life to helping animals, and over the years, she coordinated the rescue of countless cats and kittens. Her compassion for animals was boundless, and she worked tirelessly to give them a chance at a better life. She also spent many years in the food service industry, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and exceptional work ethic. She also earned her veterinary assistant certificate, further reflecting her passion for caring for animals.
Robbie is survived by her father, Robert Wagenhoffer; her Sisters Rosanne Anderson and her husband Leonard Anderson and Lori (Dolores) Mennella and her husband Joseph Mennella; as well as her treasured nephews and niece, Michael and Adam Anderson, and Karen and Daniel Mennella. She is predeceased by her mother, Rose Wagenhoffer, her sister, Karen, and her fiancé, Frank Campo.
Robbie will be forever remembered for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by those who were lucky enough to be a part of her life.
A Mass will be held to celebrate Robbie's life on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Sloatsburg, NY.
