Roberta Lee "Truesdell" White

Roberta Lee (Truesdell) White, age 92, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Roberta was born in North Kingsville, Ohio, to Robert and Irma (Edy) Truesdell. She spent much of her childhood in Ashtabula and lived most of her adult life in the Madison/Thompson area, where she built lasting relationships and a life grounded in faith and family.

Roberta's laughter could fill a room, and her faith filled her heart. She found joy in attending church, singing, and knitting, and she touched countless lives through her kindness, warmth, and unwavering belief.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Harland White; her half-sisters, Judy Truesdell and Connie Westfall; her children, Lucinda (Fraser) Young and Renee Elliott; and her stepchildren, Debbie Marcosson and Denise (Rick) Aponte. Roberta also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, all of whom affectionately knew her as "Grandma Sweetie."

Roberta was preceded in death by her beloved son, Daniel Phillis and her sister, Reda Peet. Each Christmas, in memory of her son, Roberta prayed that God would place a son in her life with whom she could share God's plan of salvation. God faithfully answered her prayers, and Roberta faithfully fulfilled her promise.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mark Shearer of Here's Hope Church officiating.
