Roberta Wittmann Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes - Groveland Chapel on Oct. 3, 2025.
Roberta L. Wittmann was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on August 6, 1938,
daughter of Emma D. Neith and William H. Lex. She moved to Florida in 1982 and then
took care of her mother and stepfather, Raymond Lefeber. She passed away peacefully
on September 28, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida.
In her younger years, Roberta loved dancing and roller-skating. She enjoyed making
Christmas ornaments, doing crossword puzzles, watching birds from her porch, and
collecting Flamingos and Elvis Presley memorabilia. Her favorite flower was Sweet
Williams. She always looked forward to her yearly family vacations at the beach and
cruises with her church. Her love, laughter, smile, mommy hugs, and funny mom-isms,
such as "Because I'M your mother, that's why!" will never be forgotten.
Roberta is predeceased by Emma Wildermuth (sister), Doris Kline (sister), William Lex
Jr. (brother). She is survived by her sister Joan King, her children Kathleen Rogers
(Donald Evans Jr.), George Bunting (Barbara Hughes), and Frederick Wardle (Angela
Boone), her grandchildren Samuel Thomas, Regina Rodenhausen, Bernadette Thomas,
Chelsea Flores, Kaitlyn Romero, Joshua Wardle, and Aiden Wardle, several great
grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and her lifelong friend Sally Cortise, who loved her
greatly. Two of her nieces, Lois Sonneborn and Doris Loudaros, who voluntarily helped
take great care of Roberta (Aunt Bobbie) over the years.
Will be laid to rest at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Hatboro, PA. with a private graveside
service. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on October 20th, 2025 at
Pine Grove Cemetery, 1475 County Line Road, Hatboro, Pennsylvania 19040
