Roberto C. Ramirez
March 22, 1940 - February 4, 2025
Mr. Roberto C. Ramirez, age 84, of Laredo, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2025, He was born in Cotulla Texas to the late Everardo Ramirez Sr. and Luz Cortez Ramirez from San Antonio Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Everardo Ramirez Jr., his sisters, Lucy Rivera and Alicia Wise, and four in-laws, Jose Luis and Raquel Salas, Jorge Luis Lugo and Rudolfo Rivera. Mr. Ramirez was retired from Uniroyal / Michelin, a lifelong resident of Del Mar and one of the original partitioners of St Patrick's Church. He was an accomplished musician that played with the Elmo Lopez, The Valenciano Brothers and the Laredo Phil Harmonic Symphony Orchestra of Laredo Community College. He also founded RC Construction company and was a graduate of Martin High school.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Consuelo Ramirez, five children, daughters: Cordelia Villarreal (Jaime Sr.) of Fort Worth Texas, Victoria Garza (Ricardo) of Laredo Texas, Cynthia Ramirez Williams of New Braunfels Texas, Kristina Guerra (Javier) of Laredo Texas, and son, Roberto Ramirez Jr. (Carolina) of Rockport Texas. He has ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Gloria Lugo and Lillian Ramirez and brother-in-law, Lucio Wise, also nephews, nieces and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 8 am to 9 am, where a rosary will be recited at 9 am.
Funeral procession will depart at 10:30 am to St. Patrick's Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am.
Special thanks to Laredo EMS Del Mar Station 8, Healing Hands Home Health, Laredo Gentle Hands, Dr. Andres Garcia-Zuniga, PA. Jessie Coe and Dr. Manuel Gonzalez for the loving care of our Father.
Pallbearers are Roberto Ramirez Jr., Jaime Villarreal Sr, Jaime Villarreal Jr, Ricardo B. Garza, Javier Guerra, Juan Roberto Guerra, Gonzalo Lugo II and Jorge Lugo Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers are Eric Villarreal, Bret Johnson, Rolando Vasquez Jr., Jorge Sifuentes, and Kendrick Barber.
A cremation will be held at a later date.
