Roberto "Bob/Tito" Sierra, 87, passed away October 23, 2025. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Serafin and Altagracia Sierra. He was predeceased by his Parents; His loving "Honey", Aurora Percil Sierra; Sister, Elba Sierra; Brother, Jamie Sierra, and Brother-in-law, Joe Velez.
Bob/Tito retired as an E6 Engineman, in the United States Navy, in February 1977. He served for 21 years. After his Military career, he worked at the Norfolk Naval Ship Yard as a Diesel Mechanic. In December of 2000, he retired for the second time, at the early age of 62. He loved to spend with his family and friends, gardening, fixing old vehicles, doing home projects, and taking care of his farm animals, especially his chickens. Those that knew him, loved him. He was an honest and reliable man who helped anyone who needed it.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving son, Bobby Sierra (Dawn); daughters, Robyn (Kerry) Winslow, Gina Sierra, and Arlene Sierra; grandsons, Joey (Chasity) Sierra, Shane (Gretta) Sierra, Jessy (Jessica ) Strempski, Brett (Caitlin) Sierra, Corey (Emily) Koch, and Austin (Trinity) Mathias; and granddaughters, Lacey Sierra, Madison Mathias, Carsyn Whitley, and Lilly Sierra; great grandsons, Jameson Sierra, Declan Sierra, and Benson Sierra; great granddaughters, Alonyi Sierra, Mila Sierra, and Jade Barnes-Sierra; Sisters, Lydia "Jean" Velez, and Anna (Tito) Alacan; nephews, Ronnie, Eddie (Kim), Kevin (Karen), Eric (Mayra), and Derek (Jessica); nieces; Doreena, Terry (John), Diana (Jim), Christy (Arturo); and many great nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on November 8, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for a time of food and fellowship.
