Robin Noell Hoffman

Robin N. Hoffman, age 50, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on March 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with NF2. Born on December 12, 1975, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Robin lived a life defined by brightness, confidence, and an unwavering work ethic that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Robin earned her RN BSN in Nursing, a milestone that reflected both her dedication to learning and her deep desire to care for others. She was an old school nurse that valued critical thinking above all things. To nurses she worked or trained with she was a ready source of information, support, teaching and mentorship. She carried that same spirit of compassion into every corner of her life, whether she was showing up for her patients, her family, or the animals who needed her most. Robin had a special gift for rescuing elderly and special needs dogs, opening her heart and her home to the one's others overlooked. It was simply who she was, someone who saw need and answered it without hesitation.
Bright, confident, and hardworking barely scratch the surface of who Robin was, but those qualities showed up in everything she did. More than any professional accomplishment, though, Robin found her greatest joy in watching her children grow and thrive. The success and happiness of her children were her primary source of happiness, and she poured herself into making sure they had every opportunity to flourish.
Robin is survived by her loving husband, Jay W. Krzewinski; her daughter, Grace Holt; her son, Graham Holt; her father, Rober L. Hoffman, stepfather Ernie Wolf, stepmother Linda Hoffman. her brothers, Bob Hoffman, Jason Hoffman, Matthew Wolf, EJ Wolf; and a sister, Angie Etheredge. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Wolf (Limberg).
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Robin's life on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Nie Family Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103.
Robin left this world better than she found it, one rescued dog, one cared-for patient, and one loved friend or family member at a time. May she rest in the peace and comfort she so generously gave to others. In lieu of flowers, family ask that you consider a donation to your county humane society or the ASPCA in order that others can continue the work Robin found so important and filled her heart with joy.
