Robin Lynn (Yerkey) Linkowski

Robin Lynn (Yerkey) Linkowski, of Greensburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 30.

Born on January 27, 1963, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Charles and Ellodene Yerkey. Robin grew up in New Stanton and graduated from Hempfield Area Senior High School in 1980.

Throughout her life, Robin held various occupations and was known for her warmth, humor, and ability to brighten any room. She loved spending time with her dog, Frankie, and her cat, Callie. Robin enjoyed shopping trips, visiting with family, and taking short road adventures. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Robin is survived by her son, David Griffith (Tiffany) of Scottdale; her grandchildren, Evan and Luke Griffith of Scottdale; her mother, Ellodene Yerkey of New Stanton; her siblings, Chuck Yerkey (Melody) of Akron, OH, Jacqueline Stoner (Wade) of Ligonier, Fred Yerkey of New Stanton, and Jeff Yerkey (Jim Myles) of Lusby, MD; her stepdaughter, Mandy Linkowski of Edgemoor, SC; her granddaughter, Destiny Faith McKee of York, SC; and her grandson, John Paul McKee of York, SC. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Linkowski, and her father, Charles Yerkey.

A private memorial service will be held.

Robin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
