Luce, Robin T.
TROY - Robin Thomas Luce, 69, passed away peacefully at his home on December 03, 2025, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born in Troy, N.Y., the son of late Thomas J. Luce Jr. and Mary E. (Rose) Luce.
Robin was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School. He was an employee of Garden Way Manufacturing and later started his own successful painting business.
Robin is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Hunziker) Luce; and five children, Kristine Herbert, Herbert J. (Ashley) Chapman, Thomas R. (Erin) Luce, Keely J. Luce, and Jacob W. Luce; grandchildren, Zoe and Francesca Herbert, Quinnleigh and Harper Chapman, Grace and Madison Luce.
Survived by his siblings, Brian, David, Sarah, John and Thomas Luce; and several nieces and nephews.
Robin loved spending time with his family, coaching Lansingburgh Little League and Troy Patriots, and being part of the Lansingburgh High School Football Chain Crew.
He enjoyed vacationing in Florida and deep sea fishing in Gloucester, Mass. He was an avid baseball fan and Red Sox enthusiast. Robin played on the Over-30 League softball team, at 112th St. Park, and was a member of the All Troy Athletic Club, in Lansingburgh.
Robin was most proud of his five children and how caring and kind they all are.
As Robin would say, it's not goodbye, it's "toodaloo."

A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Augustine's Church, in Lansingburgh.
