Robin Darlene McDaniel, age 62, of Effingham, Illinois passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in her home with her family lovingly by her side.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois with visitation two hours prior to service. Mariah Logan will be officiating. Burial will take place in the Edgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Pagel Funeral Home, 100 N Olive Street, St. Elmo, IL, 62458, to help offset the funeral cost or donor’s choice. Robin was born April 27, 1963, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Leslie Blair and Glenda Rogers Blair. She enjoyed listening to music, visiting with friends and family. She always looked forward to family dinners. She was fearless, stubborn, lived life wide open, beat to the tune of her own drum and very quick-witted.

She is survived by her mother, Glenda Blair of Edgewood, Illinois; daughter, Rhiannon Thompson of Effingham, Illinois; sons, Dylan McDaniel of Effingham, Illinois, Lucas McDaniel of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, brother; Roger (fiancé, Marie Williams) Blair of Edgewood, Illinois, sister; Tammie (husband, Jason) Sims of Edgewood, Illinois, 8 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved 3-legged cat, Gizmo.

She was preceded by her father; Leslie Blair, grandparents; Otto and Verlene Blair and Loren and Ethel Rogers, and niece Brittany Blair.
