Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anderson Family Funeral Home - Arco on May 15, 2024.
Robin Asay Pearson, 64, of Lost River Idaho passed away peacefully in her home on May 13, 2024, surrounded by family.
She was born in Blackfoot, Idaho on August 18, 1959, to Reed Z and June Lynette Asay. She spent her childhood with her 4 siblings on her parents' ranch in Leslie,
Idaho. She was known for a work ethic instilled during these early years. She married Robin Roy Pearson on May 19, 1978, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for
time and all eternity. Together they raised 7 children in the Lost River Area. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was always
proud to say her children were her best friends and bragged about them to anyone who would listen.
She returned to school after the birth of her last child and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Education and spent many years teaching in the Butte County schools. She loved
teaching and especially her students. Once retired she enjoyed time with the Ladies Aid in Mackay, Idaho. Robin was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints. She served in many callings. She loved the interactions and the resulting friendships.
Robin enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, knitting, and needle work. She was often found listening to music of all genres. Robin loved playing her guitar and flute. She
could often be found singing to her children, grandchildren or just to herself. One of her favorite things was singing with her siblings while their mom played the piano. Robin
sang at many weddings and funerals throughout the years. During the summer she loved flowers, sitting in the yard, and enjoying the beauties of this valley.
Robin is survived by her husband, Robin Roy Pearson, to whom she was married 46 years. Her children, Benjamin Alma Pearson, Rebecca Rosenburg Pearson, Ane
Kjerstine Chandler (Jason), Chelsea Pearson, Jamie Gundersen (Derek), Roy Curtis Pearson (Heidi Marley), Rachel Pearson, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Her 4 siblings Tan Summers, Don Asay (Loretta), Christie Berndt (Daniel), RuthAnn Wagstaff (David), and numerous extended family members who she loved with all her
heart. She was preceded in death by her parents Reed and Lynette Asay, her mother and father-in-law Rodney A. and Elida Pearson, and brothers-in-law Paul Summers and
Rodney S. Pearson.
Robin extended love to each person she met and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by those that knew her. As she leaves us, we are comforted knowing she
is safe and returned home to her Heavenly Father.
