Robin A. Sharp, 69, of Prairie City, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 9, 1956, in Avon, Illinois, the daughter of Wilbur E. and Donna Mae (Chapman) Carnes. On November 3, 1973, she married the love of her life, Kenneth E. Sharp, in Prairie City. He survives.
Also surviving are two children, Lori (Eric) Raymond of Bushnell, and Chad (Angela) Sharp of Prairie City; four grandchildren, Cameron and Olivia Raymond, and Kyler and Kenlie Sharp; and two siblings, Russell (Melissa) Carnes of Prairie City, and Rena (Denny) Myers of Sperry, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Kendall Sharp.
Robin was a 1974 graduate of B-PC High School. She and Ken shared many years together teaching line dancing and creating handmade furniture and birdhouses, which they sold for over 20 years at the Spoon River Scenic Drive. Robin was a talented and creative soul-she loved painting, sewing, gardening, and caring for her fish ponds. She also enjoyed thrifting, attending auctions, and hunting for treasures at yard sales. Her beloved toy poodle, Sadie, was her constant companion and brought her much joy.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday October 31, 2025 at the Bushnell Township Cemetery, with Pastor Paul Sharp officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday October 30. 2025 at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Bushnell-Prairie City Schools Art Department or to the family. Please sign the guestbook and leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robin, please visit our floral store.

I remember her as a child of 8 or 9 years old, I was her neighbor at 5 years old. She would walk her brother and I up to a little store in PC. Rough times for my little brother and I. When you remember that kindness you know she was special from a young age.
