Robin Taylor Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 21, 2026.
Robin Lee Taylor, lovingly known as Mom and Granny, passed away on February 17, 2026, surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the heart of her home, the strength behind her family, and the steady foundation that held everyone together.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Victoria, and Joseph Coughlin; her brothers, Lyle Coughlin and Roger Sherman; and her beloved son, Michael "Bubba" Taylor.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Stanley Taylor; and their five children, Temple (Jeff) Warden, Joseph "Scott" (Shannon) Taylor, Casie (Mateo) Taylor, Michelle Taylor, and Jeremy (Alexis) Taylor.

Robin was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren-Kassidy, Marcus, Angelica, Alex, Ethan, Alysha, Joseph, Matthew, and Taylynn-and the joyful great grandmother of Londyn and A'Nylah. She is also survived by her siblings, Bill, Royce, and Michael Coughlin, and Vicky Boutwell, along with a large extended family and countless friends whose lives she touched.

Robin's purpose in life was simple and pure: to take care of her family. She poured her heart into every moment spent with them-family cookouts, holiday meals she lovingly prepared, stories she told with a sparkle in her eye, and quiet afternoons sitting in the swing beneath her favorite tree. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren, celebrating every milestone and creating memories that will live on for generations.

In her quieter moments, Robin enjoyed playing Zynga online poker, a pastime that brought her joy and a bit of friendly competition. No matter what she was doing, her love for her family was woven into every part of her life.

Robin was the matriarch, the glue that held everyone together, and a fighter until the very end. Before her passing, she asked that her family remain close, support one another, and continue the legacy of love and unity she worked so hard to build.

Her strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Memorial Gardens.
