Robyn Roberts

Robyn Willoughby Roberts, aged 73, of Summit, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Robyn faced a rare form of cancer-neuroendocrine carcinoma-with remarkable strength, courage, and grace over the past three years. True to her generous and compassionate spirit, she dedicated time throughout her illness to connecting via Zoom with newly diagnosed patients around the world, offering them support, understanding, and encouragement drawn from her own experience.

Born in Soda Springs, Idaho, on September 28, 1952, Robyn graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After college, she moved east and settled in Summit, New Jersey, while commuting into New York City to work as a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. When she became a mother, Robyn combined her professional expertise with her entrepreneurial drive and founded her own CPA practice in Summit, serving her clients with dedication and integrity.

Robyn is survived by her beloved sons, Adam Roberts and Matt Roberts; her faithful goldendoodle, Henry; her brother Carl and sister Dale; her nephew Dan and his wife Terri; and many dear friends who loved her deeply and were profoundly touched by her warmth, humor, and authenticity.

A vibrant and social person, Robyn found great joy in spending time with family and friends. She treasured fishing trips with her son Adam, morning walks with her "dog friends," summer evenings at her pool club, and exploring estate sales in search of hidden treasures. She loved gardening, attending book group, going to concerts and the theater, traveling, and savoring delicious food-especially fine dark chocolate from Europe. Always eager to learn something new, Robyn recently took up crocheting, which, naturally, blossomed into yet another circle of supportive friends.

Robyn will be remembered for her fearlessness, her feisty humor, and her genuine, caring heart. Her absence leaves an unfillable space in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
