She is survived by her sister, Gayla Hardegree; nieces, Diona Martin (Chris) and Leah B. Hardegree; great-nieces, Savannah Austin (Jamie) and Macey Martin; great-great-niece, Millie Austin; cousin, Steve Reagan (Myra); and special caregiver, Judy McCarley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William G. and Claudette Ward; her brother-in-law, Eddie Hardegree; and her beloved cat, Topaz.
Born in Anniston, she graduated from Oxford High School in 1984 before continuing her education at Jacksonville State University, where she was a proud member of the Marching Ballerinas and later earned her master's degree in education. She spent much of her career as an insurance producer with State Farm. Known for her fun-loving spirit, she enjoyed shopping, dining out, going to the movies, spending time with her many friends, and caring for animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Calhoun County Humane Society in honor of Rochelle.
