Roddy L. Shock, 74, passed away peacefully at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne on March 16, 2026 surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Plymouth, he was the son of Carl and Betty Shock.
Roddy enjoyed spending time with his grandkids along with playing golf with his sons and grandsons. Throughout his lifetime, he enjoyed playing pool and cards with friends.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie; eight children, Laurie Simboli, Kelly (Daniel) Blackburn, Chad Shock, Wyatt Thomas, Melinda Cowden, Amanda (Keith) Bell, Kyle (Amber) Shock, and Brittany Ross; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; along with his sister, Penny Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Betty; brother, Denny Shock; granddaughter, Lexie Shock; and great-grandson, Greyson Warren.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Plymouth American Legion Post 27, 1040 E. Jefferson, Plymouth, IN 46563.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home to assist with Roddy’s funeral expenses.
