I also did not know him personally but after seeing his story on the recent Dr Phil, I wanted to know more about him. What a remarkable life and how fortunate his community was to have him in it. Prayers for his family.

I just had the pleasure of meeting Roderick via Dr Phil's Friday flashback today. I was immediately struck with what a kind and gentle soul he was. I was saddened to see he is no longer with us. Although I didn't know him personally, his bright light shone on this afternoon's show. I'm sure he's up in heaven carrying on his ministry!

I just saw him on a rerun of Dr. Phil from 10/02. I immediately liked him and he seemed so sweet. Then at the end of the show they do a RIP to him so I had to google to see what happened! And I read all about him and his life. What a sweet and great man. It’s so sad that he passed so young I wish I had known him. RIP

I just seen Ron Durnham on The Show Extremely Weight Loss. I'm so very sad because I actually fell in love with Ron Durnham. I looked pass his weight issues and I identified with him in so many ways such as when Ron said many people often said how handsome he was and he was.
I loss my only son Sammy on April 25,2014 to a senseless murder but watching Ron Durnham with his amazing determination really haa inspired me to begin exercising. I need to lose atleast 15 or 30 pounds.
To Ron Durnham family,friends and students you have my sincere condolences during this difficult time.
Ron Durnham I believe you and my son Sammy are two of the most beautiful Angels in Heaven.

i had the pleasure of meeting him on one occasion. I loved the man the first time I met him. he was an inspiration.he told me numerous times while I commented on pictures,that those are my kids ..I love them so much ,they are wonderful.RIP ROD ,

A person, Rod Durham, was very dear to his family, friends, and students. His sudden passing has touched so many lives just as his life has done. He will be remembered for all he did for others. his family, friends, students, colleagues, and others whio saw him on television and in person loved him and will always cherish him . He has joined his father who loved him dearly. His many beloved family members, friends, colleagues, former and current students will join him one day with our Heavenly Father. May God bless his wonderful family whom so many love and cherish., including me, a friend.
