Roderick Eldridge King

Buck & Jane King taught our three children as they passed through the stage of being in the 4-5 year old FBC AC Sunday School class. They were a committed couple working together to reign in the energy of all those children & focus their attention on Jesus. Our 29 year old daughter still recalls how kind they were as her teachers.
Years later they welcomed into their circle 2 of my unchurched international girls who had never been inside a church. They allowed even the 7 year old sister to go through their class with her younger sibling because neither had a Biblical foundation.
Mr Buck followed those two inquiring about them for many years after teaching them both. He faithfully prayed for opportunities for them to grow in their knowledge of God. Buck King portrayed in flesh the love of His Savior that led Christ to say "Let the Children come to me."
Thank you to both for serving in such a humble position & laying a great foundation for our children.
Mr King will be missed by us all at FBC, AC!

Jane, my heart is broken for you and your family. I have wonderful memories of you and Buck in Montgomery!
I am a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist church and we have many mutual friends there. You are both dearly loved!! I will be praying for you!
