Roderick Wayne Waters

I worked with Roderick and Ricky Travis at Bedsole Medical Company on Eastlake Blvd in the 80s and 90s. He was an excellent coworker and dear friend. He could walk into a room and you could feel his energy. He cheered me up many times. I loved him like family and will never forget his laughter and joy for life. RIP, my Black Brother.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I'm so sorry about the death of your loved one. I sincerely hope that you will find comfort in knowing that there is a future for those we've lost in death.(1st Thessalonians 4:14).

Roderick's passing makes me sad. We have know each other all our lives, and our families are friends. He was such a nice guy. I pray peace and God felt blessings upon the Waters and Travis families. The East B'ham Davis family sends love to each of you.

A Good soul will be missed

Over the past couple of weeks you had been heavy on my heart. Actually, the night of your passing I was telling my mom that I really need to contact you because I had been thinking of you. I should have called and told you that I love you then, but I know in my heart that you already knew that. Words cannot express how hurt I am by your passing. For almost 28 years you have been like a second father to me and I thank you for all that you have done. Rest In Peace my birthday twin. I will always love you

Roderick was a very dear friend of mine. Very kind and fun to be around. He will truly be missed.

RIP Roderick. I haven't seen you since I was about 20 years old. But I remember like it was yesterday. When you get there make sure to say Hi to my momma, and tell her we all love and miss her terribly.
