Rodger Allan Johnson, 89 of West Salem passed from this life early Thursday morning, January 8, 2026 in his home following a brief illness.
He was born on October 17, 1936 in Altoona, Pennsylvania the son of the late Harold and Cora (nee Strunk) Johnson. Rodger married the former Patricia Brown who survives.
In keeping with his wish's, no services will be observed.
Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.

Deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of Roger! Roger lived a remarkable life and will definitely be missed! I´m definitely going to miss seeing him pop in and around watching the work in progress around the farm on a daily basis. Thinking of you and wishing you all moments of peace and comfort.
