Rodger Williams Obituary
Rodger was the husband to Jeanne Baker.
Born on July 19, 1962 in Frederick, MD, he was the son to the late Rodger W. Williams, III and Mary Darlene Phillips.
Rodger was a welder for Pipeliners Union 798 out of Tulsa, OK for 26 years. Welding took him throughout the country where he enjoyed the job and meeting people. No one was more proud and loyal to the brotherhood of 798. After retirement he loved spending time at home with his long time traveling partner Huck "the" dog. Rodger had many fond memories of the family farm in Poolesville.
Along with his wife Jeanne, Rodger was survived by his three children; Shane Williams (Heather), Holly Williams, Steele Williams, brother; David Williams (Teri), sister; Patti Jacobs (Terry), step-mother; Gwendolyn Williams, eight grandchildren; McKensi, Logan, Haylee, Tanner, Mason, Alisya, Destyn, Brayden and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 23rd from 5:00-7:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 West Hunter Road, Beallsville, MD.
