Rodney Eugene Carson

Rodney Eugene Carson age 71, passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2028 at his residence.

Rodney was born in Bedford, PA to the late Warren and Shirley College Carson. Rodney worked long hours, but always found time for his children. His evenings and weekends were centered around his family. He was a Scout Master for many years and camped with his sons one weekend every month and a week at Camp Goshen in the summer. Rodney was the Director of Administration for K&L Gates. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and he became an avid golfer. He also enjoyed music, concerts, gardening, and poolside sunshine.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara; sons; Chad Carson of Myrtle Beach and Grant Carson of Roanoke, VA, daughter; Caitlin Carson Clapp of Haymarket, VA, two grandsons; Westley and Rowan Clapp, a brother, Richard Carson of Hanover, PA and a sister; Diane Beegle of Bedford, PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 2PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, 11528 Hwy 17 Bypass Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
