Memorial service for Rodney Duwayne Johnson, age 48, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 3:00 p.m. May 3, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 201 East Grand, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Pastor Dyke Crane officiating.
Rodney passed away Friday, April 25, 2025. He died at his home in Frederick, Oklahoma.
He was born on November 7, 1976, in Houston, Texas, to Charles Arthur Johnson and Annie Pauline Henry. He attended school in Denton, Texas. He did complete high school, but was very proud to later receive his GED. He worked at the Tree Farm, and worked for Julie Oxford. He had previously worked for Superior Thermal Solutions, and worked with Justin Smith building Farm Implements, and also at CR Tire. He was a mechanic and was just in the process of starting up an automotive mechanic shop business partnership. He especially loved working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by his father: Charles Arthur Johnson; a brother: Charles Johnson; and a sister: Biancia Johnson.
He is survived by his soulmate: Debra Delynn (Harrison) Fobbs, of the home; his mother: Annie Pauline Hussey, of Houston, Texas; children: Savon Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Kendall Johnson, of Garland, Texas, Keylan Johnson of Coppell, Texas, William Rider and Jasmine Johnson, of Vernon, Texas; step-children: Austin Harrison and Amya Harrison, of Frederick, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters: Billy Williams and wife Melissa, of Houston, Texas; Lois Austin, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Darnetta Miller, of Dallas, Texas, Cynthia Johnson, Dallas, Texas, Dowanna Rhodes, also of Dallas, Texas, Mickey Johnson and wife Teruko, of Denton, Texas, and Anthony Johnson of Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
