Rodney passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at his residence. He was born October 30, 1973 to Roger Dale & Dorothy Jean Hart Marks. He loved working outdoors and working on farm equipment. He loved riding his motorcycle. He was always smiling and happy and had a big heart .
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh Lee and Arvie Lee Marks; father, Roger Marks; uncles, Larry Marks, Phillip Marks.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Jean Marks; uncles, Marty Marks, Michael (Becky) Marks; aunt, Kathy (Jackie) Caudle; sister, Angela (Joseph) DeBoer; nieces, Alyssa & Emma DeBoer; nephew, Elijah DeBoer; a host of cousins, family and friends.

Rodney,
You have not vanished-you have returned.
Returned to the soil that first held you,
to the wind that once cooled your face,
to the waters that carried your reflection.
Mother Earth receives you gently,
as she does all her children when their journey in this form is complete.
Your breath is now in the trees,
your warmth in the sunlit ground,
your memory carried forward in every living thing that knew you.
Nothing in nature is ever truly lost.
It only changes shape.
You are no longer bound by weight or worry,
only woven back into the great rhythm that sustains us all.
We will feel you in quiet moments-
in the hush before rain,
in the steadiness of the earth beneath our feet,
in the knowing that life continues, connected and whole.
Rest well, Rodney.
You are home.
