I met Rod , a fellow MUG, in our (Don Farquar, Harris Tucker and I) assigned room on "A" deck in July 1953. Rod served as the Treasurer of the State of Maine after his days at sea with the US Navy. A quiet person and sincerely a friend to all his classmates. I will miss Rod at any future class of '56 reunion. Just a good guy. Bill Mahoney
