Rodney Alan Swartley, 77, of Green Lane, passed away at his home on March 24, 2026. He was born in Sellersville on July 6, 1948 to the late Austin Pross Swartley and Sara Emma (Duke) Swartley. Rodney was the loving husband of Kathleen Ann (Porter) Swartley for 51 years. He was an avid fisherman and birdwatcher, and loved being out in nature. Rodney loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Rodney is survived by his wife Kathleen; sons Matthew Alan Swartley (Natasha) and Drew Porter Swartley (Rebekah); grandchildren Nora, Wade, and Barrett; and many other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a conservation charity of your choice.
