To the family of Rodney James "Crump" Thomas, Jr.:

I worked with Crump at the Main Post Office in New Orleans during the 1980's. He was a very pleasant and sincere person to work with on the "primary" work floor. I had the pleasure of being in the "poker club" with him and he tried to teach me how not to loose all my money! I loved him for the person he was. I am very sorry for your loss and I pray one day we all will get to see him again in heaven. Be Blessed.

I have read all 33 pages naming those lost in New Orleans and have come to feel as if I have known you all. I am grieving with you even though I am far away. I am in San Francisco, but I am holding you all close to my heart. Love, Laurie
