Rodney Porter Wilkens ObituaryWilkens, Rodney Porter of Mound, MN died peacefully on March 25, 2025, at the age of 76. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Carla (Meacham) Wilkens, his brother Sherman and his sister Holly Wilkens. Rodney was raised in Hopkins, MN and attended Hopkins High School and the University of Minnesota. He lived in Mound for 50 years. He is survived by his beloved family, wife, Susan; children, Rebecca and Jonathan (Ruth); grandchildren, Charlie, Benjamin and Clara as well as several nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11th at Huber Funeral Home in Mound. Visitation begins at 5:00 p.m. with Service immediately following at 6:30. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association can be made in Rodney's honor.
