In Loving Memory of Rodolfo Enrique Maldonado Flores
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rodolfo Enrique Maldonado Flores, who went to be with the lord peacefully at home on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years old.
Rodolfo was born on December 30, 1938, in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Josefa Maldonado and Enrique Flores. He made Fort Worth, Texas his home, where he built a life filled with hard work, dedication, and love for his family and community.
A skilled carpenter by trade, Rodolfo spent his career building homes and working on remodeling projects as a subcontractor. His craftsmanship can be seen in countless homes across Fort Worth since the 1960s. A legacy of hard work and dedication that stands as a testament to his life’s work.
Beyond his profession, Rodolfo was an avid golfer, loved fishing, listening to country and pop music, smoking BBQ, and always kept himself busy with projects. He was the family’s go-to handyman and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His generosity and strong work ethic touched many lives.
Rodolfo was preceded in death by parents, Josefa and Enrique; and brother, Salvador Quiñonez.
Rodolfo is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Flores; son, Rudy Flores, Jr. (Ramona); son, David Flores (Belinda); daughter, Veronica Fautner (TJ); grandchildren: Carlos Valadez, Stacey Valadez Hurtado, Krystal Valadez, Lauren Valadez, Vanessa Hernandez, Chayce Evans, Noah Moreno, Marissa Moreno, Alivia Lopez; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is remembered as a devoted family man and a steady, loving presence in their lives.
In honor of Rodolfo’s life, a Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM and Funeral Service at 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a life well-lived.
