Rodolfo S. Moncivaiz

Rodolfo S. Moncivaiz, a cherished resident of Somerset, peacefully entered the arms of his Lord and Savior on December 26, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on January 25, 1935, in Poteet, Texas, to Merced and Martina Soliz Moncivaiz, Rodolfo lived a life defined by devotion to his faith and his family. Rodolfo is reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Inez Moncivaiz; his parents, Merced and Martina; and his brothers, Juan and Ricardo Moncivaiz. His memory will be forever honored by those he leaves behind, his brother, brother, Adolfo Moncivaiz; his children; Elvia Cruz, Rodolfo Moncivaiz Jr., Ruben Moncivaiz Sr., Robert Moncivaiz Sr. (Nora), and Sandra Moncvaiz; grandchildren, John Ojeda Jr., Rene Ojeda, Jeffrey Ojeda; Nathan Moncivaiz and Jonathan Moncivaiz; Ruben Moncivaiz and Steven Moncivaiz; Robert Moncivaiz Jr., Roxanne Moncivaiz Locquiao Domine, Randy Moncivaiz, and Ronnie Moncivaiz; Roland Flores Jr. and Justin Rojas; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Our Lady of the Angels Church at 10:00 with burial to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
