Its memorial day 2024. We all still think about you, talk about you and cry about you. Words can´t describe how i feel inside. It still feels like yesterday we were told the news. I love you Rudy.

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who work to send handmade prayer shawls and/or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one while serving our country. Time waits for no man. Another year has passed and am sure that your absence is felt as strongly today as it was a year ago. My sincere condolences to Sgt. Rodolfo Rodriguez family members. R.I.P. Sgt. Rodriguez, your watch is over and we'll take it from here son.

Rudy you will always be in our hearts. Rudy grew up from being a boy to an awesome young man became a wonderful husband to his wife and an awesome awesome father to his children. Not only did he sacrafice but so did his family. I will keep praying for the family.

I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousands words that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.

When you awaken in the mornings hush,

Rodriguez and Vasquez families you are in our prayers, may THE LORD JESUS give you strength and courage during this difficult moment. Our heart goes out to all of you, may GOD bless you and may GOD bless America.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Rodolfo Rodriguez. He was a friend of my son Cpl Michael James Jaurigue KIA 26May07.They were both in the same platoon in Iraq in 2006-2007. Sgt Rodolfo Rodriguez and his family stopped by my house before his deployment to Afganistan in Aug11 to meet us. He was a Outstanding young man and soldier with a wonderful family. First of all, I would like to say Thank you, Sgt Rodiguez for you service to our country. You paid the ultimate price for our freedom. To the Rodriguez family you are in my thoughts and prayers. FYI, I served my country also for 22 yrs. I am from the Valley and graduated from Edcouch-Elsa in 1956.

My heart goes out to the family, each and every member. I have no children of my own, and I cannot image the kind of pain of losing a child. One should never have to lose a child, under any circumstance. I pray for healing and, in the end, peace. Rudy, I thank you for your honorable service for our country.
