Rodolfo Federico "Rudy" Garcia

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, son, uncle, father, and godfather, Rodolfo "Rudy" Federico Garcia, born in 1962 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, to loving parents Natalia Lomeli and Jose Guadalupe Garcia. His Mexican heritage was a source of deep pride and honor for him, and he carried much love for his native land throughout his life.
Rodolfo attended school in Modesto, California, and later continued his education in various schools in Yakima, Washington, where he grew up in the Yakima Valley. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent his life laboring in many fields, including agricultural work, field labor, tractor driving, construction, meat processing, and other agricultural work. Through honest labor and perseverance, he provided and contributed wherever he was needed.
For the last 15 years of his life, Rodolfo devoted himself to caring for our mother, demonstrating unwavering love, responsibility, and selflessness. His dedication as a son was a true reflection of his character and heart.
He is survived by his children, Sophia, Rudy Jr., and Abcde; his brothers Robert, Miguel, Jose Angel, and Roque; and his sisters Maria, Martha, Rosa, and Maria-Isabel. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother Jose Guadalupe Garcia, who passed away in 1996; his father, Jose Guadalupe Garcia; and his grandparents.
Rodolfo also found joy in the simple things in life. He had a deep love for old cars and dogs, which brought him comfort and happiness throughout the years.
Rodolfo will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind heart, devotion to family, and pride in his heritage. His presence, sacrifices, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 13th from 2pm-5pm at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 14th at 10am at St. Joes Catholic Church, with a Graveside Service to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at 12pm.
