Roed FREELAND Obituary
Spokane - Roed Enrique Freeland, 62, passed away on September 16, 2025, in Spokane, Washington. Roed was surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his six children; daughter-in-law; two grandchildren; his mother; three sisters; and wife.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 27, at Colbert Presbyterian Church in Colbert, WA.
Viewing: 2:00 p.m.
Service: 3:00 p.m.
Celebration of Life: 4:00-6:00 p.m., with Filipino food served.

I met Roed out at Newman Lake when he married his wife Christine. Her family had the cabin next to ours. I enjoyed seeing their family having fun at the lake. I knew that Roed was a well respected educator in Spokane, he will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He made an everlasting mark on me as my science (MESA) teacher waaaay back in 2001 at Salk. I'll never forget his silly stories, especially the one where his younger relative kept asking him if he was "full of pee now" (Filipino). He will be greatly missed.
