Rogelio "Gafa II" Santos Sr. age 69
Passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness, surrounded by his loving family. Rogelio "Gafa II" was born to Crescencio and Aurora (Salazar) Santos Sr. in Alice, Texas on Oct 22, 1952. He loved to play basketball in fact he is credited with getting the first dunk in the Alice High School new gym in 1971. After high school, Rogelio proudly served his Country in the US Army during the Vietnam War for 3 years, after the war Rogelio went to work for CCAD where he worked as a Aircraft Mechanic. Rogelio loved to Bar B Q, he was known as a world traveler, and had a passion for basketball, he loved to run and was always willing to fill in as an evening pastor at the church he and his wife attended Tabernacle of Praise Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Crescencio and Aurora Santos, a sister Aurora "Rorita" S. Santos.

Loving wife: Diana P. Santos
3 daughters: Erika Santos, Pola (Robert) Cavazos, Cassandra (Benito) Ramirez
son: Rogelio (April) Santos Jr.
sister: Mary D. Monsevais
2 brothers: Cresencio (Gena) Santos Jr., Roel (Janie) Santos
4 grandsons, 3 granddaughters

Our deepest heartfelt condolences Diana and family. We will always remember the first time we met brother Roger and you, at David and Belinda home study. Always remember him teaching at church. Can't believe how the yrs passed and the memories we made. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Our prayers, thoughts and love be with you all.
