Roger was a wonderful person. He was a great physicist, a fantastic teacher, and was always so generous with his time. He hosted many parties at his home and always made everyone so welcome. He will be sorely missed.

Dr. Bland was a kind, humble, and patient professor. He made complex concepts look easy in his Theoretical Physics class. He definitely had a sense of humor. I feel fortunate to have known him. He will be missed. Thank you Dr. Bland.
