Roger Alan Curran

Roger Alan Curran, age 68, of Orland Park, IL, passed away peacefully at his home on August 25, 2025. Roger was born on September 20th, 1956, to parents Robert and Jean Curran and grew up in Blue Island, Illinois before moving to Palos Heights, Illinois. Roger graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in 1974. He began his career as a Project Manager at Piping Systems Inc., where he gained valuable experience in the field. He later advanced to executive leadership roles, serving as Vice President at Meccon Industries and subsequently as Vice President at Ornelas Construction, contributing to the growth and success of both companies.

In October - 1983 Roger married Evelyn. Together, they had three children that they raised in Frankfort, IL. Roger was a supportive father, best friend, and biggest fan to his three children: Amanda, Jake, and Luke (Hannah).

Roger had a love for travel, with Marco Island, Florida holding a special place in his heart. At home, he enjoyed game nights with his family - though if you found yourself playing against him, you'd quickly learn he was a fierce competitor. Whether it was cards or board games, it was always best to be on Roger's team - especially if money was involved!

A proud Chicagoan, Roger was a loyal fan of all the city's teams, but his heart belonged to the Chicago Bears. He was happiest in the company of his friends and family, and nothing brought him more joy than time spent with his beloved grandchildren, Ethan and Hailey.

Roger's humor, generosity and competitive spirit will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on in the laughter around the game table, the roar of a Bears touchdown, and the love he gave to those lucky enough to know him.
