Roger H. Dale, 91, of North East, PA, passed away at home Thursday, November 6, 2025, surrounded by his family in the house that he and his wife built. Roger was born March 20, 1934, the son of the late Louis and Mable (Carlson) Dale.
Roger graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1953 and joined the United States Navy. Following his discharge, he worked for National Fuel Gas until his retirement after 40 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Roger enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, taking drives around his neighborhood, and never missed an opportunity to support his grandchildren at their sporting events, celebrations, and supervising their projects.
Roger was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Helen (Ward) Wilmire, Shirley (Red) Gainer, William (Margaret) Dale, Alan (Margaret) Dale, Donald (Mary) Dale, and Elizabeth (Edward) Snippert; and brother-in-law, James Samson.
Roger is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith (Bujnowski) Dale; and his sister, Karen Samson. He is further survived by his three children, Gregory of Houston, TX, Dawn (Dennis) Juliano of Harborcreek, and Scott of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren, Dustin (Erica) Juliano of Rowley, MA, Denver Juliano of Kannapolis, NC, Devon Juliano of Harborcreek, Jessica (Raul) Llamas, and Madelyn and Michael Dale, all of Houston, TX. Roger also enjoyed being GGramps to his six great-grandchildren, Avery and Nolan Juliano, Grace Juliano, and Daniella, Ariana and Josiah Llamas. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Faith Lutheran Church, 5414 East Lake Road, on Monday, November 10th, from 1 pm until the time of the Memorial Service there at 2 pm conducted by Rev. Jean Kuebler. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church Organ Fund or United Way of Erie County: Edison Elementary Community Closet, 650 East Avenue, Suite 200, Erie, PA 16503. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
