Roger Edward De La Rosa, age 78, of Sussex, NJ, died Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart.
Roger was born February 24, 1947, in Manhattan, NY and was the son of the late John Michael and Marie (Knoess) De La Rosa. He was predeceased by his son, Roger De La Rosa, Jr.
He served in the Navy during Vietnam war and was a graphic artist and recently did real estate.
Roger was a hard worker who loved the Mets, was an avid horse lover and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Lillian Marie (Peine) De La Rosa of Hawley, PA; three daughters: Dawn Marie Arnold and her husband, Ron of Honesdale, Felicia Ann De La Rosa of Hawley, and Jennifer De La Rosa of Hawley; grandchildren: Christine Caswell and her husband, Steven of Honesdale and Joseph Questore and his wife, Sophia of West Milford, NJ; one great grandchild: Sage Elizabeth Caswell of Honesdale; one sister: Helene Mayer of Hamburg, NJ; one brother: John De La Rosa of Oakland, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 20th from 1 to 2 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
