Back in 1983, I was a very young and green 2LT in the US Army Reserves with my first command, when I met Roger Eisenmacher. I was totally impressed and I asked the Battalion Commander if Roger could serve as my First Sergeant. We served for a year together until I called up for Active Duty. He was a great guy! Total professional!

This was one hell of a guy. Peggy and I send our prayers to Margaret and the family. I enjoyed and had the privilege to serve with Roger in the Guard as well as the reserves. it was a true honor. Rest In Peace my friend until we meet again .

What will I miss most? Lively "discussions." Okay, they were more like arguments but always ended well, as long as we all agreed that Roger was right. :-)
